Today Adam and Kylee are 5 weeks old! Our little miracles are doing very well. No bells, no whistles, no alarms, just two tiny little miracles sleeping and growing, just like they are suppose to.
Adam is currently 2 pounds, 2 ounces, and Kyle is 1 pound 15 ounces. Adam is currently receiving a continuous feeding of 6 mls of Mommy's milk an hour and Kylee is receiving 8 mls in compressed feedings. Compressed feedings means she gets the 8 mls over two hours of continuous feeding and then two hours off to allow her to digest it.
Mommy and Daddy got to hold babies today. Mommy held Kylee in her arms for about a half hour and Daddy held Adam skin-to-skin for about a half hour.
It is such a blessing to have them doing so well. All they need to do is avoid any further complications and continue to grow. Before we know it, they will be ready to come home. It still is amazing to think they are already five weeks old!
Thank you for all the prayers, love, support, and kindness. Our little miracles are on the receiving end of an amazing amount of it. It appears to be doing the trick! Thank you! Today was a very good day. Today Adam and Kylee are five weeks old!
