Happy 4th of July! Today is Adam and Kylee's first Independence Day! When Emily and Eric arrived to visit the twins this morning they found 4th of July goodies awaiting them. The tags read, "From Our Little Firecracker." Thank you to the fairy Godmothers who did this for all the families in the nursery! We do know that the daughter of one of the nurses is responsible for the adorable and delicious cake pops! Thank you for making this holiday special for Emily, Eric, Adam and Kylee!
When Eric and Emily texted pictures of the bears, and then pictures of the bears with Adam and Kylee, I thought they were large bears. Then when I visited later I saw that these are Beanie babies, Adam and Kylee are just really tiny!
Whenever an alarm sounded today in the nursery it wasn't one of Adam or Kylee's but one of the other babies in the nursery. It is a knee-jerk reaction to look at the monitor numbers whenever you hear the alarms. Our little miracles are doing so amazingly well. Adam is down to 24% oxygen on his bubbler and Kylee remains at room oxygen (21%). I cannot convey what a blessing it was to sit in the nursery today with Adam and Kylee sleeping peacefully and no bells or alarms of theirs sounding off.
Thank you so much for the powerful prayers, love, and support. I believe in miracles! Today was a very good day!
