Today was another challenging day for the twins and all we can do is be grateful for each day, good or bad, and all of the good days we have seen so far.
Adam had another blood transfusion this morning. He and antibiotics are still fighting off infection. When I looked in on him earlier today he immediately opened his beautiful eyes and started looking around. He is remarkably curious for someone so tiny! He is still on a ventilator and will remain on it for a few more days. He is such a sweet tiny boy.
Kylee was put on a ventilator today as well. She also has an infection and is being treated with antibiotics. She was sleeping comfortably when I saw her. She is a tiny little sweetheart.
We are told that they should both be doing much better in a day or two when the antibiotics have a chance to work. Meantime, they are both in the best of care and are being continuously monitored and cared for.
Thank you for supporting us while we are on this roller coaster with your prayers, love, light, and positive energy. Every day is a gift, even the not-so-good ones. We pray for better days ahead. Today was a challenge.
