Today was a big day for Kylee! She was off her bubbler for over 24-hours and breathing 100% on her own. Because of that things changed today. Kylee was moved from her climate-controlled incubator to a normal incubator. Kylee is also now wearing her own clothes! Emily didn't know about the change so the nurses gave her a borrowed outfit to wear today. Tomorrow Emily will bring Kylee's own clothes so she can wear them from now on. Kylee also began the first steps toward transitioning to breast feeding today and did better than expected.
Adam is also doing very well and is not far behind Kylee. As he progresses he will soon begin weening off his bubbler too. Adam was catching up on his sleep today while his sister was busy experiencing all sorts of new things!
Tomorrow we will be seeing another first for Kylee who will be taking her first bath! Stay tuned!
