July 19, 2012 - Happy Seven Week Old Twins!

Today Adam and Kylee turned seven weeks old!  Today was a very good day. 

Adam is now wearing street clothes! Today we found him in a little monkey-themed outfit with little tiny monkey feet.  He was way too adorable for words! Adam is now 2 pounds, 14 ounces and closing in on the 3 pound mark.

Kylee is also doing very well. Today they discontinued monitoring her oxygen levels. Now they monitor only her blood pressure and heart rate which have been excellent.  It is so strange to look up at her monitor and see only two readings instead of three!  Kylee now weighs 2 pounds, 4 ounces.

Adam and Kylee are both doing so well.  They are growing on target and their doctor doesn't have much to report when we see him.  Today he said that in all his years he has never seen a baby born at their gestation do as well as Kylee is and be where she is at this point.  The nursery she graduated to has babies in it that are three and four times her size.  As remarkable is the fact that Adam is not far behind her and for a boy born at their gestation that is also quite a feat.  Adam is very close to starting trails without his bubbler.

Thank you for the prayers, love, kindness, support, light, and positive thoughts and energy.  Adam and Kylee are living proof of miracles.  We believe all of your support contributes to their progress each and every day.  Every day is a gift.  Today is a very good day.
