Today was a good day for the twins. Mommy is still feeling a little under the weather but was able to spend time with both Adam and Kylee today.
Little Wishes is a wonderful program for critically ill children. Adam and Kylee both received gifts through the program at the hospital. Adam received a Baby Einstein undersea mobile and Kylee received a baby swing. The nurses were so thrilled when the gifts arrived they had a student nurse put the baby swing together so both Adam and Kylee can enjoy it while they are still in the hospital.
Adam and Kylee got moved today to the corner of the nursery where they can both be closer to each other. Now you can see both of them up close at the same time when you sit with them. The nurses are calling it Adam and Kylee's Corner.
When we got to the nursery today, we busted Adam's nurse holding him, just because he is such a love bug! It was so cute! Mommy took over and gave Adam lots of Mommy love. When she got done holding him, she put him back in his crib and he just laid there looking around, drifting, and practicing on his pacifier. He is such a sweet boy! Adam now weighs 4 pounds, 3 ounces.
Meanwhile, while Mommy was holding Adam, Kylee was busy talking in her crib. She is a gabber! She gabs when she is asleep and she gabs when she is awake. She was slowly waking up for her feeding and would talk a little, look around a bit, then fall back asleep. Then she would talk in her sleep for awhile and start all over. Mommy got cuddle time with Kylee but was not feeling too good. By the time it was time for Kylee's bottle, it was time for Mommy to go home and rest. Their nurse was simply heartbroken she was going to have to feed Kylee her bottle. Not! She was tickled she was getting to do it and one of the other nurses also volunteered if she was busy. Kylee is such a sweet girl! Kylee now weighs 3 pounds, 9 ounces.
Thank you for the prayers, love, kindness, support, and light. We are overwhelmed day-after-day. Today was a good day.

I am glad your day was good, Little Ones. Hopefully there won't be too many more before you go home. Sorry that your Mom was not feeling well.
