Today was a good day for the twins.
Adam is still working on bottle feeding and has graduated to two bottles a day. He is now taking 38 mls of milk per feeding and taking about half of it by bottle. Adam now weighs 4 pounds, 4.3 ounces. He is such a big boy!
Kylee was not feeling her spunky self today. She wasn't chattering and telling us stories as usual and her eyes were red and tearing, poor baby. Adam picked up the slack and was especially chatty. In spite of how she felt, she bottle fed for two consecutive feedings today and finished both bottles. She is getting 34 mls per feeding. Kylee now weighs 3 pounds, 10.9 ounces. She is such a big girl!
Mommy and I took an infant CPR class together this afternoon. It covered infant CPR, SIDS, and infant choking. It is amazing how much has changed since statistics around SIDS has been collected and analyzed. It has made the American Heart Association change their recommended procedures for infant care and CPR. It was a very worthwhile class taught by one of Adam's nurses when he was in Nursery A. She came by the nursery to check in on him after the class. All the nurses love Adam and Kylee!
