Today was a good day for the twins. It sure is a blessing to be able to say that day after day!
Adam and Kylee were both sleeping when I visited today. They were both in their respective cribs sleeping and growing. They both had a bottle feeding last night.
Adam drank about a third of the bottle as he still gets used to the sucking, swallowing and breathing coordination to fill his belly versus a tube feeding. Adam is now 3 pounds, 14.2 ounces and is getting 35 ml of milk per feeding. It is hard to believe he is beginning to close in on 4 pounds!
Kylee drank her entire bottle and she did it in 15 minutes! She continues to be the little super star over-achiever! Kylee is now 3 pounds, 4.2 ounces, exactly 10 ounces less than Adam. She is getting 30 ml of milk per feeding. She is closing in on the three-and-a-half pound mark!
Mommy is feeling much better and is so looking forward to seeing her little peanuts again. I know they have been missing her. Daddy visited them after work tonight.
Thank you so much for all the prayers, love, kind messages, support, and thoughtfulness. We are truly grateful. Today was a good day.
